It was such a treat to stay the night at Polly Devlin OBE’s stunning London home recently. Not only did I get to see my ‘Treasure’ artwork nestled amongst the collections in her beautiful house once again (and at long last, install the accompanying ‘making of’ video) but we were able to enjoy her tremendous wit and kindness over glasses of champagne in the evening and scrambled eggs in the morning! One of the most rewarding parts of being an artist is getting to meet some of the collectors who have purchased my work. Polly would say that it’s all synchronised and meant to be, but I am so thankful to have made friends with incredible people like her through this experience.
