I’m pleased to announce that I am now represented in the Middle East and India by Ambika Hinduja Macker, founder and creative director of the art and design firm Impeccable Imagination. It’s been an incredibly busy few months getting new work made and shipped in time for her forthcoming January 2025 multi-sensory group exhibition ‘The Sublime Nature of Being’. In collaboration with ICD Brookfield Place, Dubai, she invites viewers to engage emotionally, imaginatively and sensorially, embracing the universal human experience of awe and reverence inspired by nature. I have created two bespoke sculptures especially for the show, Ultra Violet #1 (Globe thistle) and Ultra Violet #2 (Spear thistle) which highlight the purple to violet colour range which is particularly attractive to pollinating insects. With thanks to Head Gardener, Chris Flynn, I was given access to stunning living specimens from the herbaceous borders at Dyffryn Gardens over the sumer of 2024, to use as reference for this incredibly intricate work.
