Asian Flowers
A collection developed for presentation at the Karin Weber Gallery, Hong Kong, inspired by accounts of Victorian plant hunters who travelled the seas to seek out and bring home exotic flora.
Spring (Magnolia)
Materials – Beeswax and paraffin wax, tinned copper wire, tissue paper, cotton thread, artists’ pigments, acrylic paint, acrylic varnish. Mounted in a traditional glass dome with a white painted wooden base.
