I can finally share this incredible natural history conservation project that I’ve been working on with Dr Victoria Purewal of Pure Conservation over the past two years. The project has stopped and started due to Covid restrictions, but the 120 year old crocodile specimen has finally been conserved, mounted and returned to the Rhondda primary school, Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Bodringallt in Pentre, where it was found under the floorboards of a classroom in 2019. Credit to Rhondda Cynon Taff Council for the wonderful photographs of the pupils which have featured in Wales Online and BBC news this week. I hope they are very proud of their newly displayed legendary crocodile!
