Artwork displayed on a wall inside the Exhibitionist Hotel

Young Masters Autumn Exhibition, South Kensington

This month I was excited to hear that two of my ‘Aliens‘ botanical sculptures had been selected for display in Part 1 of the Young Masters Autumn Exhibition at the Exhibitionist and Gainsborough Hotels, South Kensington, London.

The Exhibition co-curated by director Cynthia Corbett and curator Daisy McMullan is focused on new work that responds to the Young Masters theme of celebrating innovation and skill in response to the art of the past. The artists included come from across the world offering a variety of perspectives on the wider, global canon of past masters. Much of the work addresses urgent themes such as climate change, gender identity and creativity from a post-Covid perspective.

This eclectic exhibition comprises work in a range of media, including painting, photography, ceramics, collage and digital. It is a fresh new look at the Young Masters theme, in a world that is changing faster and more drastically than ever before.

The ‘Aliens‘ artwork is exhibited courtesy of Ruup & Form and can be seen in the display until 14th November 2022.
